Dr Flavia Frigeri is an art historian, curator and lecturer. As the Chanel Curator at the National Portrait Gallery, she is leading the three-year project Reframing Narratives: Women in Portraiture to enhance the representation of female artists and sitters in the collection. She was previously a Teaching Fellow in History of Art at University College London (UCL) and Curator, International Art at Tate Modern. She holds a PhD from UCL, an MA from University of Chicago and a BA from John Cabot University, Rome.
