Screen Scotland is hosting a Zoom briefing to discuss ACCESS: SCOTLAND, an exciting new development opportunity for Scottish Indies:
Newly launched, this initiative has Screen Scotland working in collaboration with EventScotland, VisitScotland, NatureScot, Historic Environment Scotland and the National Trust for Scotland.
Access: Scotland aims to open up “precincts” - story hubs such as castles, events, festivals, nature reserves, stately homes - for the filming of access-driven TV series in genres such as documentary, science, history, arts, and popular factual, with international appeal for broadcasters and streaming platforms.
Development funding of £50,000 from Screen Scotland’s Broadcast Content Fund is earmarked to be split between up to 5 successful projects from Scotland-based production companies, chosen after an initial 2-page submission and pitching session to the partner organisations.
Join us on Thursday 28 January at 14:00 to hear Screen Scotland’s Head of Unscripted Dani Carlaw, Head of Business and Market Development Louise Acheson, and Director of Screen David Smith discuss this new initiative with a panel (below) of representatives from each partner organisation. This will be a followed by a Q&A between Scottish indies and the panellists.
As this is a limited event, please complete below (and click attending) to RSVP by 17:00 on Tuesday 26 January.
